Bold Black and White Modern Kitchen

This modern kitchen proves that black and white does not have to be boring, but can truly be BOLD! The wire brushed oak cabinets were painted black and white add texture while the aluminum trim gives it undeniably modern look. Don't let appearances fool you this kitchen was built for cooks, featuring all Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances including a retractable down draft vent hood. 

Historic Craftsman Bungalow

This early 1900's bungalow was in need of a kitchen makeover that lived up to its historic past. Craftsman style cabinetry carried up to the ceiling, hand made tile, and a wood countertop prep island give this space the charm it needed. 

Mid-Century Modern Bathroom

This Mid-Century home was begging for a bathroom that matched it's architectural heritage. The custom walnut vanity with holly wood inlays discretely hides plenty of storage. The dimensional white tile adds texture and interest, while the integrated concrete vanity sink provides a pop of blue. 

A Fashionista's Kitchen

This kitchen demonstrates the balance of traditional elements with a modern twist and conveniences. The stunning brushed gold finishes add a touch of jewelry to the grey stained walnut and painted white cabinetry. The hidden appliances help the kitchen feel less intrusive in this open floor plan.

This home was just begging for an open floor plan! The owners were interested in a transitional kitchen with natural elements to help bring the out door in. Being big cooks functionality was also on the top of the list. The result is a jam packed kitchen with nice amenities.

This project consisted of the master bathroom, guest bathroom, bar area, and laundry room. The clients were looking to give their home an updated rustic look with modern conveniences. Designing a shower for the master bathroom in an old tub location was most challenging part of the design.

I’ve always dreamed of having a clean, modernist home, and I’m happy to say that Alice and her team at Atelier Cohen led the way to making that dream a reality! I couldn’t be more happy with the project, my house looks like it could be featured in a Kinfolk magazine. I had the pleasure of working with Alice on redecorating my childhood home that hadn’t been touched up since I was a teen in the 80’s.
